I mentioned the 2013 National Bike Challenge in my post wrapping up April's 30 Days of Biking challenge. A coworker invited me to join their team, and I accepted.
Log miles, have fun
I've never tracked my miles before, and I'm really bad at estimating distances. I used to have a bike computer, but then I realized that I was just using it for the time, so when it ran out of batteries I gave it away. But in the spirit of participating with the team in our challenge, I've started tracking my miles.
I don't actually enjoy races or sports that I don't play "just for fun," so I was fully not anticipating becoming competitive during this challenge. Of course, it is only the first week of the challenge, so we will see if I can maintain my momentum!
