Have you seen the red kiosk in the Uptown Transit station, either looking up from the Greenway or as you were loading your bike onto a bus?

The kiosks were placed by a local company called Bike Fixtation.  The kiosks are self-serve and offer goods like tubes, and also have basic tools, air, and a workstand for you to use!

To celebrate our recent fans, we are holding a Facebook photo contest for the rest of August. Capture yourself performing a bike repair on our Public Work Stand at the Bike Fixtation in Uptown Minneapolis. Post the picture on our Facebook wall by the end of August. The prize (Bike Fixtation T-shirt and water bottle) will be awarded to the person with the most impressive repair!

I wanted to share this with you for a couple of reasons.  If you ever get a flat tire, need a snack or a wrench when you're near the Uptown Transit station, you now know where to go for help!  I also thought it would be so cool if the winner was a WTF, especially a Grease Rag WTF...  Good luck!
