Dudey-Free Zone is now available online

By : Lowrah · March 8, 2012

I can't believe I didn't post about this before, but sometimes I post on Facebook and forget to make a proper blog post about it.  Cool story, I know.

Dudey-Free Zone is a 26-minute documentary on the importance of women’s/transgender/gender-queer bike spaces.  Dudey-Free Zone was created by two local women, Alicia and Laila.  They started with an idea, recruited some friends for interviews, and cut this film.

Attention to all of you creative types!  This movie was one of the VERY FEW women-made films submitted to BFF, and one of the VERY VERY FEW starring WTFs like you and me. Consider submitting to BFF2012.

You may have seen the film at last year's MIA Bike Night, or the BFF Film Festival, or at Macalester's movie night... but here it is online, via Vimeo.
