Seward Learn to Bike flyer- 4/17 & 4/24

I will be volunteering at an event aimed at teaching adult women how to ride bicycles. I would like to encourage you all to attend, or at least pass the word along to any adults you know that might need some extra help getting back on a bicycle.

Learn To Rides

April 17th and April 24th from 1pm-3pm

2310 Snelling Avenue Minneapolis

Bikes will be provided, instructors will be available, and enthusiasm is encouraged!

From Harris, the event organizer:

Seward Redesign is partnering with Sibley, The Hub, and others to lead a bike class for adults who want to learn to ride before the spring! We are leading two learn-to-ride courses in the Seward neighborhood of Minneapolis to try to increase ridership in the East African community, especially amongst young women. If you are a competent biker, and feel comfortable teaching others how to ride, you should join us. We are planning a few classes this spring, but we hope to create a network of invested individuals to lead this program to something bigger this summer and fall. Thanks for your passion and support!
