I woke up this morning with a smudge of grease on my cheek...
... and I thought of you.
We were packed to the gills at the last Grease Rag with 16 of you fine WTFs at Grease Rag. A couple of people came without bikes just to check it out and learn. When spring comes, you all should ride with us!!
Mostly we did winter maintenance, including cleaning and lubing wheels and drive trains. It was good to see some well-loved bikes that have been ridden hard this winter get some attention.
Lydia built up a bike, and we had some brake work, wheels were trued, and other mechanical work being done, too. Shayne was hustling to help us all out, like always.
There were beers, there were snacks, there was ASS KICKING.
Luci was kind enough to come by and give us all some tips on self-defense, or "How to kick ass." I'm generally pretty clumsy and uncoordinated, and I could execute the moves, so *anyone* can do it! Not to mention it was pretty fun choking each other and judo chopping my pal Buzo in the throat. ;] Just imagine how that must have looked to all the cars driving by on Lake Street.
Suzie, Tina, Holly, Dezee, Deonna, Alivia, Kat, Shayne, Buzo, Luci, Jen, Lydia, Ryan, Rachel, and Spanish... You rock my world, thanks for coming to Grease Rag!
As always, you can check out and add your own Grease Rag photos to our Flickr Group.
