From the Minneapolis Presents website:
We are a group of four local female cyclists, and we are excited to announce a project we developed to support programs that encourage and facilitate women’s cycling. Our project, Minneapolis Presents, is a 14-month calendar featuring local women who are active in various cycling-themed events and projects in the Twin Cities, with proceeds to benefit Grease Rag, a bi-weekly group ride and open workshop targeting female cyclists.
Support Grease Rag by buying a Minneapolis Presents calendar- We get money, and you get a beautiful calendar full of bad-ass local WTF cyclists that are passionate about what they do, and graciously donated their time and energy to this project. You can buy these calendars at different vendors around town- Supporting local businesses is cool!
If you would like to support Grease Rag and support Grease Rag's sponsor, buy a calendar (or 5...) at Sunrise Cyclery. Jamie at Sunrise donates staff time, space, tools and many other essentials to the Grease Rag. Without Jamie's support Grease Rag would not be possible.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the members of the Minneapolis Presents team. Melody, EG, Kayla, Chelsea... you are absolutely fearless! It has been awe-inspiring to watch this idea come to fruition through your hard work and effort. We feel very lucky that you have selected Grease Rag as the beneficiaries of this great project. Big Greasy Hugs to you all.
I will be polishing my dancing shoes- See you on Friday, November 12th!
